The exam format is multiple choice. Pass mark is 80% - that means you must get 4 out of five right!

First, get sample questions from MeasureUp and/or selftest software. The actual exam questions bear little resemblance to the practice exams but I recommend them because if you keep going over them till you get 100% you will pass. The real questions are phrased differently. The practice tests give you choices that could all be right. The real exam gives you some options that are often gobbldygook.

The questions all have the same dumb format ‘John is lead developer with a financial services company…’ i.e. starts off with some stupid scenario. Then loads of more badly phrased and often irrelevant information, sometimes totally ambiguous. But you have to work with it so I suggest you use this strategy…

As you answer questions…

1. Understand the question (read twice) Visualise the object as a page (or whatever)
2. Is there more than 1 answer ?(checkboxes instead of radio boxes)
3. Read ALL the answers
4. Which is the most likely answer/s
5. Which is the least likely answer/s
6. Select
7. Repeat 1-6 then move on!
