Denny Dias

Post Steely Dan

After Steely Dan broke up Dias continued to work with them as a session guitarist, appearing on 1975's Katy Lied, 1976's The Royal Scam, and 1977's Aja. In 1991 he joined Toto on their Summer Festival Tour.

His intricate guitar solos and sophisticated chord progressions became hallmarks of the Steely Dan signature jazz-rock fusion style, earning them critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base. Despite stepping back from the spotlight in later years, Dias's contributions continue to resonate through the timeless allure of Steely Dan's music.
